Job Description
Perform systems security network analysis on multiple networks (UNCLASS, SECRET, TS) to determine, assess, and provide Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments (IAVA) and cyber threat information.
Provide patching and other remediation assistance to vulnerable systems on the network.
Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SCCM 2007, Windows 7 OS, Windows Server 2008/2008R2/2012 OS
Investigates and utilizes new technologies and processes to enhance security capabilities and implement improvements.
Under general direction, responsible for activities relating to the development and execution of information assurance procedures and systems
Perform IA-related systems and services such as: Unauthorized disclosure of classified information (UDCI) reporting; network scans to include the use of Retina, ACAS, and QTip; identification and reporting on systems identified by RCERT trouble tickets; and Certification & accreditation reviews.
Additional IA security functions as directed by the IA department manager in support of the contract.
Qualifications:
Desired Knowledge and Skills
4 or more years of Information Assurance or IT Systems experience.
Strong knowledge of windows operating systems and previous SCCM experience.
Operation of vulnerability scanners (preferable Retina, Scap, & Qtip) & vulnerability data analysis.
Scripting experience a plus.
Knowledge of Army IT policies and procedures.
Prior experience with workstations/servers in an Army installation environment.
DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Program (DIACAP).
Preferred Bachelors degree with a concentration in the IT
Mcafee EPO/HBSS knowledge and experience is a plus.
Minimum requirements
Security
Certification is required. One of the following certifications may be substituted for the Security
certification IAW DoD 8570.1-M: GCFA, GCIH, CEH, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security or CISSP.
Computer environment (CE) certifications also required for this position. Acceptable certifications would be Microsoft Windows 7, Server 2008/2012, CCNA, CCNA-Security or similar certification. New hire would have to obtain a CE within six months of start date.
Must have a Top Secret clearance prior to hire
