ANTICIPATED START DATE: Standing By for Task Assignment
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 1 Base Year x 2 Option Years
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Active Top Secret Level Clearance with SCI Access; Access and Investigation must appear in JPAS and be within scope (5 - Years)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform data collection, research, reengineering, and analysis and provide technical recommendations for validating and propagating IED defeat IT-related TTPs and lessons learned, and developing, fielding, and testing of new IT capabilities and concepts in order to enable joint forces to proactively defeat the IED threat
Provide reach back intelligence support on IED network targeting, forensics, technical characteristics, and associated TTPs
Provide mentoring to the Replicating BN Counter Insurgency Targeting Program (CITP) and integrating into the BDE to provide realistic and integral emulation to the maximum extent possible
Provide analysis of technical and forensic intelligence from IED equipment and events in order to highlight trends, identify IED cells, prosecute insurgents, and improve force protection
Provide instruction on C-IED Integration, Insurgent Network Analysis, terrorist TTPs and IED threats, and provide subject matter expertise on current C-IED and operational enablers used within projected COCOM area of responsibility.
Assist in the product and scenario development to include providing critical SMEs in order to implement the current Insurgent Operations and Attack the Network methodologies
Set conditions in the training scenario packages of non-CTC events, such as, but not limited to, Culminating Training Events, C-IED Academics, Leaders Training Programs, and Mission Readiness Exercises
REQUIREMENTS
Ten (10) Years of Overall working intelligence experience
Four (4) Years of All Source Military/Intelligence experience
Four (4) Years' Training Experience
National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) Analysis Experience
C-IED targeting experience at the Battalion and Brigade staff levels through Paladin/Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF)
Experience with military operations and training or Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) simulation combat development activities
Experience with developing unit training plans at the battalion or brigade level to accomplish specified Training objectives
Knowledge of Intelligence Preparation of the Operating Environment (IPOE)
Ability to understand basic threat tactics, techniques, and procedures of existing and fictional threat groups sufficient to communicate with subject matter experts at the brigade through division level
Working proficiency of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Office)
Ability to think independently and expertly apply Critical Thinking skills
Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills
Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to proficiently communicate in the English language
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Access
Must possess a current U.S. Issued Passport or be able to produce one upon selection and assignment
DESIRED
Minimum Four (4) Years of EOD experience
Military Training Instructor certified
Experience with JIEDDO, JIEDDO training initiatives, and academics at the university level involved with IED research
Experience with adult learning methodologies; essential in providing coaching and mentoring at the graduate level
Experience with research projects such as Border Hunter; this training is considered a Building Tactical Acuity for C-IED Course and the select candidate must have the knowledge, skills, and ability to create a course that is specific to the needs of the EOD community
Experience with BTAC instruction to EOD units
Experience at a Combat Training Center (CTC)
Experience with Army and/or Marine Corps training and exercise programs
Experience with supporting the use of distributed simulations in support of Army and Joint LVC training events, mission rehearsals, and experiments
BA or BS degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
