Junior Recruiter 2014-1542
BASIC FUNCTION: The Junior Recruiter will perform a variety of tasks in support of the Recruiting Team under the supervision of the Senior Recruiting Manager with the intention of growing into a Recruiter role. This position is part-time and will function out of the Leesville Mobius office with occasional travel required.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Work with the Senior Recruiting Manager to move candidates through the hiring process to deliver quality candidates in a timely fashion.
Source qualified candidates from employee referrals, online job boards, social networks, professional partners, job fairs and many other venues
Screen resumes
Contact candidates via phone and email as appropriate and move forward as directed by the Senior Recruiting Manager
Enter candidates into a database using correct organizing criteria
Maintain recruiting database and incoming resumes
Routinely providing status reports to the Senior Recruiting Manager
Post positions on various job boards to attract ideal candidate
Evaluate resumes against position requirements
Answer questions, as necessary from numerous Hiring Managers pertaining to open positions
Conduct reference and background checks on potential candidates
Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Employment or internship in an administrative capacity. Data entry, email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and direct customer relations in person or on the phone is required.
DESIRED
Experience:
Previous recruiting and/or human resources experience is a plus. Experience with an ATS (applicant tracking system) experience is desired. Experience with iCIMS is highly desired.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent. AA degree in business administration is preferred.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills; demonstrate the ability to multi-task and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of online job boards and social networks preferred. Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with other professionals is required. Chosen candidate will be high energy, positive and customer focused.
