Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves (l) identifying, preventing, or eliminating safety hazards in work methods or environmental conditions; (2) safety training or promotion within the arena of live fire facilities, maneuver areas, ranges and impact areas which provided practical knowledge of occupational and environmental safety hazards, survey techniques, and control and preventive methods and (3) performing routine inspection and investigative work in enforcing occupational safety and health laws. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
