Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with providing advice and/or guidance in financial areas (such as budget, civilian manpower, management programs and cost analysis and assist with advising management on program issues and make recommendations for corrective action. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education:
Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. (Note:
You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and
Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. (Note:
you must attach a copy of your transcripts.) To qualify for the GS-11 Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes performing multifunctional assignments related to resource management such as:
budgetary development and programing; reviewing, analyzing, and preparing reports regarding current funding situations or distributions; AND interfacing with financial systems to generate automated records concerning status of financial requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education:
Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. (Note:

Experience:

Experience:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes performing in-depth rigorous analysis of financial processes by employing techniques such as:
cost-benefit analysis, program trade-offs and exploring alternative methods of business practices; performing financial programing which includes:
forecasting funding for out-years, current year and prior year's funds; AND providing funds distributions of budgetary and financial support to customers utilizing systems to generate automated financial records and reports concerning status of financial requirements, and to input financial requirements for future funding.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
